That definitely describes my lunch today
You may remember my most excellent salad from Monday night? Well, I revisited it again today, sans chicken.
First, there was the bed of vibrant spring greens.
Juicy red strawberries.
Crunchy chopped pecans.
Dressed with Urban Fare Cranberry & 3 Peppercorn Vinaigrette, and topped with some tangy goat cheese
What else did I have? Well, there was a yogurt/frozen blueberry/hemp seed mix.
And a new Larabar for me – Cocoa Mole. Ole!
The Larabar was interesting. I think the spice was a little overwhelming in the bar, so I can’t say it will be a favourite of mine. Which, is okay, because they aren’t that easy to find anyways. It definitely wasn’t horrible though, just not my thing.
Work was pretty standard. I think my work computer is ready to die though, every afternoon it just slows down so much! Perhaps it thinks it gets an afternoon siesta? Unfortunately, my work load doesn’t allow that.
Now I need to figure out if I should have a snack or not. Tonight I’m going out to celebrate a friend’s 30th birthday. It’s dinner & drinks at The Reef, a Caribbean restaurant here in Victoria. The problem being, we don’t have reservations until 8:30! I’m going to be mucho hangry by then if I don’t eat something, but I also don’t want to ruin my appetite since I’ve never been to The Reef, and definitely want to try out some fun cuisine. Oh, the dilemma. Well, I should go ponder my options. Later gators!

Have a blast tonight!! Caribbean drinks sound like JUST what I need
I love salads with strawberries!
Strawberries and pecans are 2 of my favourite things to put in a salad!
Hope you have (had) fun at your dinner! Can’t wait to hear about what you got to eat!
Fruit and nuts on salads are SO good!! Nice choices! I’ve never tried that Lara so thanks for the review!
