Did I mention I like this whole “work two days, one day off, work two days, weekend” thing? Even if it kinda felt like a Monday this morning, I’d take it if I knew I was only another day away from a day off
Breakfast was a tasty, crunchy bowl of cereal.
A lovely bowl of Nature’s Path Pumpkin Raisin Crunch with skim milk. Simple and to the point.
Can you tell it’s another sunny summer day? Perfect for a glass of Happy Planet Mango Peach Party.
I packed up a plethora of lunch components today, some to be assembled at work. First, there was some green stuff, to be enjoyed as is.
Cucumber slices.
Honeydew melon. Very pale honeydew melon – sort of lacking flavour too. Boo.
Not green – Kashi Dark Chocolate Coconut granola bar. These need to come to Canada, stat.
Slices of that yummy Onion & Rye Farmer’s Market bread.
The bread was to be toasted up at work, and topped with a mix of tuna, mayo & dill pickles, plus some shredded cheddar. Tuna melts!
Obviously, pictures of my toasty, melty tuna melts would have been much prettier, but whatcha gonna do?
I booked out of work a little bit early (it was slow), so I could get things done. I made an appointment to get the oil changed in my car, revised my moving truck reservation, paid rent, and power washed my rain gear/boots outside. They have been in the trunk of my car for a very long time, and haven’t been washed since the last time I wore them to offload fish for work, so I was thinking they might be in bad shape. I opened up the rubbermaid container, and was pleasantly surprised to see they weren’t completely manky. Watch, now that I’ve got them all shiny & clean I’ll have to go wear them and get them all dirty again. Murphey’s Law eh?
Well, time to create dinner. It’s gonna be good!

I would love a work week like that!!!!
Kashi does need to give you guys the goods too! Are they nationalitist?! I made that word up but who cares!
I’m loving this mid week day off, too! Monday’s always go by fastest for me and seeing as yesterday felt like Monday, it whipped by! Score!!
Love that great lunch you packed. Whenever you make tuna it makes me crave it.
